During the university I started painting as a replacement of the creative void that appeared after spending my days in a dance studio. I’ve been an artistic soul since I was a little girl, as a contrast to my academic path as a lawyer.

I live and breathe duality. Half of me is a creative chaos who always have a new idea up my sleeve. The other half a structured organizer who push these ideas through, with a Filofax in my handbag. Sometimes giving my Italian husband a headache. My mission in life is to bring these sides to co-work and so far, I think I made quite a good job.

Perhaps, through this journey as half artist half lawyer I can even inspire someone else to live out their full potential. We are a mix of our ideas and dreams, and we shouldn’t have to pick “a box” and stay there.

As an artist, I’m an abstract mixed media painter. My passion for painting lays within the interaction of the colors and contrasts of the shapes, creating movement and depth, layer by layer. I always paint with the canvas on the ground, to have the possibility to move 360˚ around my work, having several motives going on at the same time. Every piece is an experiment of shades and material, built on inspiration from my surrounding.
